After this morning's Startup Review, we open our doors to non-members for a Lunch Roundtable on Sustainable Fuels. Sustainable Fuels are combustible fuels that can be used in conventional engine types, but are not extracted as petroleum, but rather man-made. By making the fuels using Carbon captured from the atmosphere, these liquids share properties of gasoline, kerosene, or diesel, but can be similarly burned while still producing net-zero carbon. The category includes both biomass fuel, and e-Fuels. The industry leading the demand is aviation, but the fuels have wider-ranging use cases.
